In a shocking (but certainly welcome) move, Bandai Namco Games has announced the localization of mash-up anime brawler J-Stars Victory VS+.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Games, J-Stars is an epic battle game featuring anime and manga characters from all over the spectrum.

The game features a story mode where players battle through the characters respective pre-fabricated universes, a 2-on-2 battle mode (in which you can form teams of four for bragging rights), and an exclusive arcade mode – giving you three ways to kick some ass with Japanese class. 😉

Are you getting excited yet? Check out a teaser trailer for the release below;

Releasing in the West this Summer, you can look forward to more news on J-Stars Victory VS+ as we approach the game’s release window. For now, it might be time to check out past news (on the Japanese version) to get a better idea of what you’re in for.

    Now bring over God Eater 2 and Cybersleuth and I’ll be happier (and just as penniless) as a pig in slop!
    Time to make my dream team of Bobobo, Arale, and Vegeta!

      Your Arale is no match for my Lala Deviluke >_<

    Bamco’s on one sweet roll! Hope we get physical releases. Maybe they can work out something with Gamestop perhaps?
