A whole host of new details have been revealed for the upcoming Alchemists of the Dusk Sky port.

Over the past few months Koei Tecmo have continued to tease us with titbits of information regarding the upcoming Atelier Escha & Logy Plus, an expansion of the original 2013 PS3 release. Now, with the release day drawing ever nearer, we have been given a whole chest full of new information.

So lets start with the playable character Nio Altugle who first debuted in Atelier Ayescha. She is a travelling apothecary and younger sister of Ayesha Altugle. In her previous outing she attacked using a variety of mischievous methods, including using her pet Bana. We can expect even more mischievous methods in Atelier Escha & Logy Plus.

The game will include a new episode that further explores the relationship between Logy and Escha. You will be able to see it from the perspective of both characters, allowing you to fully understand each characters thoughts and feelings.

New costumes have also been revealed for Escha, Logy, Linca, Wilbell and Nio. You can see them in all their glory below accompanied by their titles:

Magicial Girl + Mini Silk Hat

Subdivision Uniform

Thousand Knight

Twinkle Star + Katyusha Star

White Rose + Mini Silk Hat

Sweet Dream + Dark Crown

We also received a nice image of the First-Print bonuses + Premium Box that will launch with the release of the game. We originally brought you the news back in November of the bonuses, but here is a quick reminder of what they will include:

  • A mini crystal paperweight
  • A 2015 Atelier Escha & Logy Calender
  • A cleaning cloth
  • A download code for an exclusive Logy costume titled “White Knight”
  • A download code for an exclusive Escha costume titled “Happy Bride”
  • A download code for an exclusive Nio costume called “Manager Clothes”
  • A copy of the game

and of course, a new Atelier Escha and Logy article wouldn’t be complete without a huge photo gallery containing new screenshots!

Atelier Escha & Logy Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky is set to release on PS Vita in Japan on January 22nd. Keep checking back to TVL for all the latest news on Escha & Logy.

Such a nice physical edition. It’ll never come here. Only the digital version. Makes me sad.
