Glowstick Games will release their horror title on Sony’s handheld, if they can reach their goal on Kickstarter.

A new brand of horror could be making its way to everyones favourite handheld, as first-person horror exploration game Dark Deception adds PS Vita to its desired list of platforms on Kickstarter. Glowstick Games are aiming for $15,000 and at the time of writing the project has currently raised $1,985 with 16 days left to go. If they successfully reach their goal, Dark Deception will also release on PC, PS4 and Wii U.

The game itself will have a story arc, a variety of creepy looking enemies and diverse horror environments to explore. The Kickstarter page gives this intriguing description of the game:

“You play as a cop on the run, fleeing from deeds you thought long buried. In desperation, you turn to the urban legend of Helen Bierce, a famous actress who vanished in 1930. Dark and disturbing rumours surrounded her disappearance at the time. Out of options and backed into a corner, your only chance is to dive headfirst into evil and hope to survive.”

Initial artwork and character designs for the game are certianly eye-catching and if the finished product contains characters as grotesque as the ones that are showcased, you can count on many a sleepless night for those who download it.

You can check out the initial designs, stretch goals and also pledge yourself by visiting the Kickstarter page here.

It’s been confirmed it is in fact coming on Vita by the dev in the message. It’s just a fact of the matter he gets the 15k needed.

Especially with it being multi-platform. Will be interesting to see how it turns out.

He said he’s approved as a sony dev already, and probably is for the other stuff too.
