Atlus has revealed that Citizens of Earth will be releasing in North America and Europe next week.

Due to hit the PlayStation Store in North America on January 20th and in Europe on the 21st, Citizens of Earth is an RPG in which you play the Vice President of the World. You have to recruit your friends, family, and anyone else in your hometown that can lend a hand.

Atlus also revealed the price and launch discount that will be available. In North America, the game will cost $11.99 with a 20% discount available to PlayStation Plus subscribers who pick up the game before February 3rd. There are no price details available as of yet for Europe, however we do learn that ‘Similar discounts are planned for Europe, but exact details are unknown‘.

Purchasing the PlayStation Vita version of Citizens of Earth will also get you a copy of the PlayStation 4 version via the Cross-Buy scheme.

Between now and the game’s release be sure to keep an eye on The Vita Lounge for any further details on this interesting looking comedy-RPG.

I’m really looking forward to this game. I hope lots of people support the Vita version and helping smaller games with lots of potential becomes a regular thing for Atlas and other smaller publishers. It’s a shame Team 17 seem relatively poor with Vita development (Worms is a mess) as, particularly the prison game, look PERFECT for Vita.

If I were to pick this one up, I could see myself playing this more on the Playstation TV than the Vita.

They are releasing it on quite a few platforms. I plan on getting it on the PS4 or Wii U.

Glad to see this game getting a release finally. I’m only sorry it didn’t make it out during my annual Christmas season videogame shopping binge.

Now that I’m in the post-Chistmas season you spent way to much on videogames so you have no money to buy anymore happy new year purchasing drought, I have no set date to snag it up, but one within my grubby clutches it shall be!

Speaking of, I really don’t think I have the willpower to let the NA PSN 20th anniversary sale go by without picking SOMETHING up. Way to many good games on the cheap!
