In just over a month a new limited edition Vita and PlayStation TV will be added to the family, this time with a Yakuza 0 theme.

Though the game certainly won’t be available on the Vita, this Yakuza 0 themed PlayStation Vita & TV will be able to remote play the PlayStation 4 version of the game if you’ve got it – or switch up to the companion app which will be available day and date with the release of the consoles.

The PlayStation Vita Yakuza 0 Edition is set to debut at a price of 20,980 yen, while the PlayStation TV Value Pack Yakuza 0 Edition will be a tad cheaper at just 16,280 yen. Pre-orders for the devices open today at 8pm Japan time, and consoles will be available via the Sony Store in Japan on February 26th.

For those interested in remote play, the PlayStation 4 version of Yakuza 0 launches on March 12th.

      I know. xD

And in which you’ll need to know some Japanese to play Yakuza games that never came to NA/EU. ;p

Sony is really taking the whole remoteplay thing seriously when it comes to marketing for them to do this. Cause honestly this seems pointless!

Would have been “on point” if it came with a Vita Yakuza game. One can only dream of what could have been. Looks cool in any case.

Can’t wait to get my hands on these. Seems weird that the Vita gets both an exclusive handheld and PSTV when its not actually getting a Yakuza game, but rather just a companion app to the PS4 version. Then again the companion app for the last game (Ishin) was pretty comprehensive so I’m looking forward to giving it a try, not to mention I’m super hyped for importing Zero when it comes out in March.
