Bandai Namco Games is looking to bring us into the anime/manga universe once again.

Young Jump Magazine will be announcing later this week the video game adaptation of Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul manga – titled Tokyo Ghoul Masquerader.

Developed by Bandai Namco Games and supposedly falling under the roleplaying and adventure genres, Tokyo Ghoul Masquerader currently has no release window or price – but we’ll be sure to keep you informed as the situation develops further.

I don’t know about you readers, but I’m excited as &^%$ – Tokyo Ghoul is my favourite anime and I can’t wait for a video game version to explore! 😛

Manga is way better. They cut so much from the first season and rearranged. Its not bad though. The second season is entirely different than the manga though.

never read the manga. So the anime is awesome enuf for me.

Agreed. The manga is a 10/10 for me. By far my favorite I’ve read yet. The anime is an 8/10. They just took way too many key moments out in order to make it more action packed.

  • I really need to start watching this Anime. Bamco is really pushing these Vita titles and it makes me so happy I just hope we start getting announcements soon about Western releases

If you want the full experience, read the manga first (at least up to chapter 60ish) then watch the anime. The anime leaves out a lot of big moments. And yeees, they need to bring this over to NA.

I don’t think it would be hard to combine the story with good fighting mechanics if they used the one piece style combat, but I agree with you TheK5A.
