Minutes launched in Europe in the latter part of 2014 and Charlie rather liked it when he reviewed it in November, describing it as “a game that challenges and stimulates whilst being both simple in premise but difficult to master. Be prepared to lose not only minutes, but hours to this game as you try to master the moving shapes!

One man operation Richard Ogden who created the game under is Red Phantom Games label has now announced that the game is set to launch on February 10th, and will have cross buy with the PS4 version.

In minutes you journey through a “twisted form of bullet hell with a unique slice of abstract action and gameplay purity.” To get a better idea of what to expect, check out the trailer.

That’s not the only Minutes news we have! It’s currently available as part of the Digital Discounts sale on the EU store for £3.10/€3.75, so if you haven’t picked it up yet you should really consider it, it’s great fun and a massive time sink!

We have also been told that Red Phantom Games have been working on a patch for Minutes, and this will launch with the North American release and it address:

  • Reduced difficulty with target scores for winning the first and second stars having been lowered
  • Level unlocking will be less linear along with the ability to skip levels
  • Friend leader board bug fix that previously led to game crashes along with additional minor bug fixes

For those of you that were fine with the game’s difficulty, there will be a cheat code published on Red Phantom’s website to allow access to those settings.

Will you be picking this up? Have you already got it? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Am I to far off base by saying this visually reminds me of games such as Every Extend Extra and Everyday Shooter? Is the gameplay as equally similar? If so, I’ll pick this up one day.

Great release date, the earlier they release it the better, the last thing there gonna wanna do is compete for space against the other upcoming Vita titles.
