New screens also show the new ALO featured within the upcoming sequel.

A batch of new screenshots for Sword Art Online: Lost Song have been released courtesy of Dengeki, as well as a whole load of new information on the games setting.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song will take place on a floating continent known as Svartalfheim and is made up of many different floating islands. The first island known as Woglinde is home to a powerful dragon.

Svartalfheims other islands include different climates such as an ice island, and a desert island, upon which you’ll battle a giant golem creature.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is set to release in Japan on March 26th, 2015. Check out the gallery of screenshots below and stay tuned to The Vita Lounge as we’ll be covering more information on the game as it is released.

I’m really hoping this game will be what I expected Hollow Fragment to be…

    • Nonscpo

Yes please let it come out well, I will gladly pay money for a physical copy of a properly localized game.

I’m still baffled by people who consider SAO: Hollow Fragment to be one of the best Vita games. Yeah, it does satisfy a particular itch, but ugh…

        • Nonscpo

You’ve got to remember it was the top second anime for some time (behind Attack On Titan), so for some anime fans it might have been the push they needed to buy a Vita. If it wasn’t for the miserable job they did in the localization, I would actually argue that it is THE game that should be bundled with every PS VITA at this time.

            very well said!

  • Nobodyouknow3

Is that supposed to be Asuna in the screenshot?

    • Nonscpo

Yes in the anime and the ALO stories she runs around like that.

    • Bitrip

She’s quite pretty in motion. They call her the “Berserk Healer” in the ALO portion of the anime.

  • Nonscpo

    OMG It’s just so beautiful!
