Dungeon crawler heading to Vita’s in the west in April.

Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Story has been given a bunch of new screenshots, these show boss battles and roaming through dungeons. Some story information has also been released.

The government commissions the Xth Squad, a group of teenagers to explore mysterious portals that lead to a place known as the Abyss. Of course, these aren’t ordinary teenagers. The characters in Operation Abyss can draw on Blood Code powers and players can customize their six squad members by choosing their classes.

You’ll be able to play Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Story in the US on April 14th and in Europe on April 17th, for more information leading up to release stay tuned to The Vita Lounge.

Looks interesting. I just got Demon Gaze, so I’m looking forward to giving it a try, will definitely keep an eye out for this if I end up liking it.

Wonder how hard this one will be? I’ve heard that DCs nowadays have hellish difficulty. I haven’t played one in such along time but would like to get back into the genre. Hard to know what game to pick up first to ease my way back when their all tough.

It’s only s little hard at the beginning, once you get the hang of it it’s not hard. Check out demon gaze, it’s from the same devs.

Looks interesting, wont pick it up at launch, but if the reviews are good I might have to pick it up down the road.
