New version coming with extra content, launching in Japan in April.

Arc System Works have announced that the recently revealed Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will be making it’s way to Vita as well as other consoles, making it the Vita’s third main entry Blazblue game.

New features in Extend include all of the DLC available for Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma as well as a new story mode entitled “Remix Heart Tour Version” which uses the story of the Blazblue: Remix Heart Manga.

The original version of Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma released back in June, but is one of the few Vita titles we’ve yet to review on the site. Did you play the original version? If so, what were your thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments below.

Really happy with ArcSystemWorks games on Vita.

ArcSys just needs to bring Persona Arena to Vita and my life will be complete.

ArcSystemWorks :/ another company like infamous discriminATLUS.

It is loved in NA hated in EU for the complete of lack of interest in region.

If I’m not mistaken they still didn’t release previous games to EU PSN :/ at least I don’t see anything.

They really should number these titles to make it easier to keep up with how many installments have gone thru. I could have sworn that they were up to four with how many BlazBlue games have been on PSP & VITA.

  • Yoyitsu

I got scared when there was no Vita version in the original announcement. I’m glad I waited instead of getting the vanilla version.

Hard to look at those Screenshots and not miss The King of Fighters on Vita, while there are tons of TKoF-variants (including ’97, ’98 both my favs) on android devices. The same goes for Samurai Shodown. Oh the good old times…
Still I’ve bought Dead or Alive 5+, waiting to reach my doorstep. After that, I’ll give BlazBlue a try, wait for Skullgirls and Dengeki Bunko.
Hard to say whether or not my stick will survive.

Is there any word about this coming over to EU? Continuum Shift Extend came to Europe, but the vanilla version of Chronophantasma didn’t, at least on Vita.
