It’s that time once again – we’re back to announce February’s PlayStation Plus offerings for Vita in both the North American and European regions.

Both Regions

Kick & Fenneck

Soon after waking up in a desolate but colorful world, Kick meets a small flying robot named Fennick. When Fennick saves Kick from a menacing guard robot, they find out Fennick’s battery is broken. Together, they embark on an adventure to the Core Tower to find Fennick a new energy core.

Rogue Legacy

A procedurally generated castle means every run is different. This is a Rogue-lite. Your character dies, but with each passing your lineage grows and becomes stronger. Tons of unique traits make every playthrough special, and with 10 different classes to master, there’s plenty of reason to come back for more (punishment)!

These two games can be yours, for the low price of a PlayStation Plus subscription – and that subscription will net you great deals on digital titles as well. If you don’t already have one, I suggest grabbing a year sub; both for the cost to coverage benefits as well as the fact that you’re not going to want it to run out on you 😉

  • Another disappointing month for the Vita 🙁

    • Lester Paredes

Yes. Free games are always bad. Boo hoo for us.

      • Last time I checked, we’re paying real money in order to get their service which just so happens to provide us with games.

They might be advertised as free, but you still have to pay monthly for the service that offers them.

        • Lester Paredes

Yes, we do pay for a service with which the game’s are icing on the cake. You are bitching about icing. Cut it off and eat the cake underneath.

          • You’re forgetting that IGC is one of the biggest reasons why Vita owners subscribe to PS+.

So I’d argue that games aren’t the icing, but rather the cake’s juicy filling.

Not to mention that this is my *personal* opinion and nothing else.

          • Lester Paredes

Yes, but now that free games aren’t the main juicy cake (that’s a requirement to play multiplayer on PS4), they no longer have to continue to give out free games.
Also, saying that’s my personal opinion is similar to saying: I’m not a racist, but…
In other words: It’s not a shield to hide behind.

          • Once again you’re forgetting something. We’re talking about Vita not the whole Playstation family.

I said that it’s a poor month for Vita and not a poor month for all of the consoles in the Playstation family.

          • Lester Paredes

Just because they are games you don’t want doesn’t make it a poor month. That’s like going to an all you can eat buffet and complaining that there were no pork chops. Lack of pork chops does not devalue the buffet. Likewise, Vita games are only a part of plus, and a lack of games you want to play does not devalue plus. Also, if you only have plus for the Vita games and are expecting only the games you want to play, you’ll have a very disappointing future…
Also, Rogue Legacy is perhaps one of the best games to come out on Vita.

      Not sure if troll.

      • Not a troll. Just my *personal* opinion on this month’s Vita game selection.
