For once (possibly after seeing one of our own videos), PlayStation has put together a preview/release reel covering some of the bigger names to hit Vita this Spring.

The video showcases native PlayStation Vita titles that’re hitting this Spring, as well as PlayStation Now titles of the same release window and even some sure-to-be-popular PlayStation 4 Remote Play titles.

Check it out;

PlayStation Vita games included in the video are as follows (thanks Takao);

  • Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines
  • Jungle Rumble
  • Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
  • Helldivers
  • Shovel Knight
  • Toukiden Kiwami
  • Olli Olli 2: Welcome to Olliwood
  • Titan Souls
  • Spongebob Heropants
  • Grim Fandango Remastered

Shown for PlayStation Now was;

  • Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
  • Batman: Arkham City

…and the PlayStation Remote Play demoed titles were;

  • Mortal Kombat X
  • The Order 1886
  • Bloodborne
  • Battlefield Hardline

Has the video enticed you into something new or shown you something cool about a game coming out you didn’t already know? Sound off in the comments and let us know whether their video created an appropriate amount of hype – or not.

    It is amazing to see how some ancient echo-chamber still lurks plenty in the YouTube comments. Desperate to achieve the most liked comments for being “funny”. lol

    Kyle, in my modest opinion.. don’t drag playstation’s -or anyone from andrew house’s team- videos or whatever into this website. I personally would rather read the news from YOUR perspective, which is (still?) optimistic about the Vita and its upcoming games, instead of checking the official CRAP scea has published. If you don’t get what I mean, I’ll just quote connorbnelson’s comment:
    “Yes, they are advertising PS4 games because they have so little to show for the actual Vita.”

    Quite frankly, the video above disgusts me.

    • Lester Paredes

      And yet, you still showed up to watch it.

    • Wert

      Why does it disgust you? It shows a range of games and shows off all of the Vitas capabilities…

      • Rodolfo Ferreira

        After watching this video you realize the Vita won’t have a promising backlog of games for the next season – sony’s idea clearly was to market the Vita as a ps now/remote play controller and also a handheld with a poor selection of few games.
        Normally I wouldn’t watch scea’s Vita videos on Youtube but I was keeping my hopes up that the announcement -which will take place this friday- would bring something new and exciting for the handheld.
        The part that disgusted me is this: In case they’d made a one-minute-long video featuring upcoming native Vita games, that’d be something worth watching; But the fact they used a third of the video to show off ps3/4, ps now and remote play is annoying. I bought the Vita to play Vita games, not console ones. And if I wanted to see ps now and remote play-related stuff, checking a Vita video wouldn’t even cross my mind.

    I sure hope that Mortal Kombat X comes to the vita. sure, graphically it’ll be terrible. But if they take the time to do a good port of the PS3 version (like Capcom did with Ultimate Marvel and Street Fighter X Tekken) it could (biiiig emphasis on could) be a good looking vita title (something I don’t count on because of how MK9 and Injustice turned out visually). However, as long as it plays well, I’d play it.
    Sadly, there’s not much to show on upcoming vita games, and three of those ‘coming soon’ games are already out… ouch.

  • Wert

    Does anyone know the release date for Titan Souls?
    I’m really looking forward to it.

    • Kuroneko

      Q1 2015, so prolly spring or so

  • zelduck

    “What’s New on PlayStation Vita this Spring?” – Almost nothing.

    • Uzair Syed

      Pretty much. I’ll pick up Oreshika though cus it looks interesting but everything else was just meh.

      • Chris Pap

        Oreshika looks amazing!

        • It does, as does Toukiden Kiwami. I’d better open the first and get that done before March!

    • To be fair, there will be more than that released, it’s just a selection.

      • Phelan

        a poor one… if I may add

  • Mark

    I want Titan Souls!

  • Rodolfo Ferreira

    It’s not like that at all. People will point their finger at sony because we love our Vita and we hate the lack of decent support from the company that was supposed to make it an attractive product just like they do with ps4.
    And as I said last year, “the more you love your Vita, the more you hate sony”.

  • Nonscpo

    Looking forward too Toukiden Kiwami and Shovel Knight 😀

    P.S. Any chanche Kyle that you guys will write an article on Sekai Project becoming a PSN publisher? We might be seeing some more Visual Novels on Vita in future:
