Sony have released a new theme on the European PlayStation Store in acknowledgement of the Vita’s upcoming third Birthday.

The theme, which is available for free, may only be available for a limited time, so make sure you grab it as quickly as possible.

There’s going to be plenty of activity on The Vita Lounge as we gear up to celebrate the Vita’s third birthday, so make sure to come back to the website on Sunday for plenty of articles and editorials as we reflect on the last year.

In the meantime, check out some screenshots of the theme in action below.

    Looks good! 😀

  • That’s pretty cool now give it to us in NA and add a Freedom Wars person to it haha 😀

I love pressing the stand by button so that I see sackboy on the lock screen, it’s putting a smile on my face 🙂

Come to think of it, it’s kinda disappointing we’ve yet to see the actual Freedom Wars theme in NA. You would think we would have seen it by now. Wonder if it’s available in Europe?

I can’t see the photos of the birthday theme due to the no photos visible on mobile issue the Lounge is suffering from and I’m on the Vita. Hopeful we get this in NA ans it looks as sweet as some have mentioned.

Does the theme include new music or just the stock Vita tune?

No ask for Toukiden to be included instead =)

Odd that they didn’t bring it to North America. Something I have also noticed from the picture, does the EU not have PS Mobile and Videos in its store? I only see Games as a section.

We do, but it’s only accessible from the main page IIRC

That’s a really good theme pack. I’ll actually use it!
