Tom Happ, the sole creator behind Axiom Verge, is still hard at work on the game and today finally has some new about when we’ll be able to play it. The game will be released on March 31 for the PS4, but unfortunately the Vita version is not quite finished yet. That means we will have to wait just a bit longer.

Apparently there are still some development tools that he is waiting on before he can finish the game, which put him in a tough predicament. Should he release one version first or wait until both are done? Tom decided to go ahead and launch the PS4 version first to get the game out as quickly as possible and then release the Vita version as soon as it’s ready. However, the game is cross-buy so the purchase of the game on one system will get it for both.

And what are we going to pay to get Axiom Verge on our PlayStations? $19.99.

So we can look forward to playing Axiom Verge on the PS4 at the end of March with the Vita version (hopefully) not too far behind.

If you’re looking forward to this game, please let us know!

I actually wasn’t planning on purchasing the PS4 version due to me wanting to play it on Vita. But that cross-buy does sound enticing…

Played the demo, had a blast. Will definitely be throwing 20 bucks his way once it releases on vita.

Can’t wait, but looks like I’ll have to! Hope it turns out to be worth it. Looks like a very cool game.
