Why do the characters look like the ones in SMT Devil Survivor games on the DS/3DS systems?
Is the artist/designer one and the same?

I hate to juxtapose this series with other franchises but tbh some monsters have a BIT of Pokemon vibe , some Devil Survivor or even Persona especially in some monsters(digimons?) and for some strange reason, a wee bit of Japanese Robo Anime of yore.

But, the good thing is they have pushed with the art direction & established their own ‘flavor’. This is the first time I really paid attention to Digimon. Never played any nor watched the anime. Many times I had heard people comparing this to Pokemon and I must say I was convinced it was the “other brother” for a time but now I’ve come to realize, after seeing this trailer, that IN GENERAL, Digimon has its own look & branding…it’s quite different if you can only see the whole picture.
