Aksys has confirmed that they’re bringing the visual-novel-with-a-twist sequel to XBlaze Code: Embryo to the West, and have even hinted at a release window.

After the leaking of an Amazon listing earlier today, Aksys Games skipped the usual denial stage and hit Twitter to confirm that “XBlaze2” aka XBlaze Lost: Memories is indeed coming to PlayStation Vita in the West.

Following the confirmation post on Twitter, they also went as far as to put up the official site for the title – furthering our information with regards to a release window;

Looks like the visual novel with a twist will be heading to a Western Vita near you this Summer, with the Japanese version hitting a bit earlier on April 9th.

If you’re looking to catch up with the game we suggest you read our past posts on the title.

Once that’s done however, shoot us a comment and let us know how you feel about the announcement!

I love how they already switched to the Tokyo Twilight avatar, also another visual novel.

P.S. Thanks for the shoutout Kyle 😉

    • Haha. Though you tweeted me, I already had it in my bin – wasn’t feeling the greatest today, but nobody else posted it so I had to.

…. not really West but only NA :/

XBLAZE Code: Embryo wasn’t even published in EU. So I doubt that Lost would be any different.

    • Conor Higgins

100% agreed. Not excited about this news at all, considering how we in Europe were treated last time.

      • Phelan

Aye what piss me off is that Blazblue on Vita sold better in EU than in NA.

And suprise suprise… we didn’t get even sequel… not that I care about digital games, but majority of countries can’t even buy it as digital game.

And before someone will say “Duh, they don’t have european HQ” than I will say what I am saying always. NEITHER DOES NIS AMERICA, and that doesn’t stop them from releasing nearly all games in Europe with retails.

From what I heard Funbox Media is publishing the game for EU with a due date for April and no one covered the news about it. https://twitter.com/FunboxMediaLtd/status/560231901966135296

      • Phelan

Oh that’s great news… how come nobody even bothered to share it?

So we will get both retail and digital version? Well… that’s kinda… weird? I mean, from what I’ve seen there are no pre-orders yet… and it is supposed to be released really soon.

Really weird, let’s hope that nothing changed. Again thx for info.

Edit: ok I just visited their site:
        http://www.funboxmedia.co.uk/

No wonder that nobody even mentioned it… nobody really follows them on social media and their experience with games is close to none… ow well I wish them all luck, they will need it.
