Sony has announced that it is ending support for PlayStation Mobile – the indie development platform for Vita, PlayStation TV and selected Android devices.
The PlayStation Mobile store will close its doors on 15th July, and from 10th September you will be unable to activate devices or re-download previously purchased games. No refunds with be offered for purchased content, so if you want it – get it now, and never let go.
Speaking of which, you will be able to continue to play previously downloaded games provided your system has been activated using the following method prior to 10th September.
[Settings] > [PSN] > [System Activation] > [PlayStation Mobile] > [Activate] > [OK]
PlayStation Mobile opened on 3rd October 2012, and highlights from the library include titles like Rymdkapsel, Tokyo Jungle Mobile and Passing Time.
