Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth released earlier this month in Japan, and now the first weeks sales figures are in and the results are incredibly impressive.
The game managed to sell through 91% of it’s shipment, which means it sold 76,760 copies, an incredible achievement I’m sure we can all agree.
However, while that is an incredible achievement, compared to the previous Digimon title, Digimon World: Re:Digitized, which sold 85,817 copies in it’s first week, the series has seen a drop in sales.
Perhaps a localisation is what the series needs to get back on track? Who knows, but if on should ever be announced we’ll let you know here on The Vita Lounge.
