Just when you thought we’d be done with God Eater 2: Rage Burst news following it’s Japanese release, we’re now hearing that we’re far from done.
2015 is the God Eater series’ 5th anniversary, and Bandai Namco Games have teased that the Japanese release of God Eater 2: Rage Burst is only the start of the anniversary celebrations and that the second half of the news will bring more announcements.
The God Eater Festival will take place on June 28th, and with an interview with Japanese publication Famitsu series producer Yusuke Tomizawa had the following to say regarding the event;
“We’re holding the God Eater Festival on June 28, so there we’re planning to announce our secret plan for the second half of the fifth anniversary. We’re still figuring things out, but you can expect to see a lot coming out of it.
“We’re planning to put out new information prior to the summer broadcast of the anime. Please anticipate an announcement with an impact.”
It certainly seems like some good news is on the way, but could it be the localisation announcement we’re all hoping for, only time will tell.
