Hyperdimension Neptunia U

Idea Factory International have opened pre-orders for the limited edition of Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed – the latest spin-off of the increasingly popular Hyperdimension Neptunia series – and the highlight of these pre-orders happens to be the 4’7″ by 1’7″ Purple Heart ‘Body Pillow’ case.

Also included is a Collector’s Box, Soundtrack CD and obviously, the game itself.  Pre-orders of the limited edition are available exclusively on the regional stores of Idea Factory International in North America and Europe.

NepU LEHyperdimension Neptunia U sees the CPU goddesses hack ‘n’ slash their way through waves of enemies, and is released on 19th May in North America and 22nd May in Europe (European digital release is 27th May).

Are you picking up the latest game with Nep-Nep and the gang? Is the lure of a Neptune body pillow to much to resist? Let us know in the comments.

    That’s very tempting…

I have to agree, if the body pillow was slightly different, I could see more people interested. Still I am surprised that there isn’t a book, they usually have book with concept art in these type of packages, guess there wasn’t much demand for it.

$18 extra just doesn’t seem worth it for this stuff, and the fact that I find the body pillow thing a bit creepy probably means I’m not the target demo for it anyway. I’ll still get the game eventually, but probably not until the regular edition gets a bit of a price drop.

In all fairness that’s a pretty tamed body pillow considering what they normally look like, but hey it’s rated T for teens for a reason, or Pegi 12 for the tweens.

Just the idea of having a character on a body pillow in general kinda creeps me out. To each their own, but no. Just no. 🙂

        • Nonscpo

          Fair enough 😉

Taking your preference aside, if you know the usual body pillow price, then I’d say that’s a pretty good price.

Haha, I definitely can’t say I’ve ever priced these things. I don’t know what the going rate is, but I know that $18 on top of paying full price for the game is more than I’m willing to pay for one (even taking the box and soundtrack into account). I would have preferred an art book or a figure.

  • …never played a H.N.-Game before, but this one i´ll probably give it a try!!!…but not interested in the limited edition…
