Developers Gust, who are the developers behind the Atelier games, have revealed that they have a new PlayStation Vita title in the works and it will release in Japan later this year.

Yoru no Nai Kuni which loosely translates to A Land Without Night will be heading to PlayStation Vita in August 2014, the project is headed by Keisuke Kikuchi who is also behind the Deception series of games.

Vague story details have also been revealed, with the game being set on a mysterious island where nobody sleeps at night, the game centres around 2 girls, players will use demon weaponry and even demons themselves in battles.

Some character and cast information was also revealed,

  • Arnas (voice by MAO) – The protagonist, who is described as “half-evil.”
  • Lyuritus (voice by Hiromi Igarashi) – The polar opposite, supposedly a saint.

    Wouldn’t the polar opposite be “half-saint”? Which when you think about it is exactly the same as “half-evil”, assuming the other half of Arnas is made of saintliness.
