We get a closer look at Gust’s recently revealed RPG with the release of some screenshots and information via Amazon Japan, Games Talk, and Niche Gamer.
Taking place on an island of insomniacs called Le Soir (translation; The Night), Yoru no Nai Kuni is an action/RPG which focuses on the intertwined fate of two girls; Arnas and Lyuritus.
The main protagonist Arnas is described as “half evil”, while her companion Lyuritus is described as a literal saint. That said, I can see why the main protagonist is the “half evil” one as the game involves enlisting the fate of demon minions called “Servan”… something I just can’t see a saint bringing themselves to do.
In addition to the aforementioned details, Yoru no Nai Kuni‘s development producer has been revealed as Keisuke Kikuchi (known for the Deception and Fatal Frame series’), while the core producer will reportedly be Gust’s main producer Tadanobu Inoue, and the illustrator is set to be artist Yoshiku.
PS; You can check out an example of Yoshiku’s work to the right.
Yoru no Nai Kuni is set to launch in Japan on August 27th, with no news yet on a Western localization.
