Releasing in both North America and Europe on Tuesday 26th May, the game was announced as coming to the PlayStation Vita back at December’s PlayStation Experience and Young Horses have entrusted Sickhead Games with handling the port to the handheld.
It has also been announced that there will be a couple of new features for the portable version. There will be a local co-op mode, allowing for two players to share the PlayStation Vita’s controls and stumble through the game’s entertaining levels.
Although there will be no Cross-Save, Young Horses have said that there will be a new set of trophies in the PlayStation Vita version of the game which will surely cause trophy hunters frustration as they get to grips with Octodad’s unique control system.
Finally, Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be Cross-Buy, so for those of you who already have the PS4 version you will receive the Vita version for free and those that buy the Vita version will also acquire the game for the PS4!
Let us know in the comments below if you will be picking this up or your thoughts on the game if you have played the PS4 version and look out for our review of the game in the coming weeks!
