Samurai Warriors fans rejoice! Koei Tecmo have announced that the much anticipated Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 3 will be making it’s way to the west later this year.

Not much is known about the translation, but we do know that the Australian Classification Board leaked the announcement last week, which lead to Tecmo Koei announcing that the game is indeed heading to the west this summer.

So far there is only a European release date of June 24th confirmed, but make sure you stay tuned to The Vita Lounge as we’ll be sure to update you on an US release date as and when we get word of it.

I enjoyed the first game on 3DS, so it’d be cool to be able to play one on Vita this time. But given Koei Tecmo’s recent track record, I’m guessing this will be another subtitled-only, digital-only affair, which means I probably won’t pick it up until it gets pretty cheap.
