Thanks to PlayStation New Zealand we are finally able to see what the wonderful and whacky Warner Bros. characters are going to look like when they come to the PS Vita in Looney Tunes Galactic Sports.

Join Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig (along with others) as they compete in six different galactic sporting events. Players will be challenged in archery, water tubing, and rocket riding as they try to show the Martians just what they’re made of.

The game is being developed by Virtual Toys, (known for The Muppets Movie Adventures) and is squarely aimed at a younger audience. Looney Tunes Galactic Sports will make full use of various Vita features such as the motions controls and front camera.

You can also expect multi-player as there will be support for up to four player online or ad-hoc play.

No release date has been given yet, and SCEE still lists it as “TBC.” We’ll just have to overlook the fact that the trailer states the game is out now.

UPDATE: And in the stealthiest of stealth launches, Looney Tunes Galactic Sports is now available on the PSN Store in Europe for £19.99/€24.99/AU$32.95.

Well it’s actually out now on the EU Store so a retail release should follow this Friday.

Already saw it on retail in a local game store last Monday.
