Originally scheduled for an April 2015 release, it was recently announced that Mighty No.9 had suffered a delay and will now release in September on most platform as well as being available as a physical game on Vita.

Comcept have released a new trailer of the game which reveals some interesting new tidbits surrounding the games release, check it out below;

Did you catch that little Cross-buy logo at the bottom left hand corner of the end of the trailer? Yep, Mighty No.9 will indeed be a cross-buy title. Update: It has been confirmed that the PS4 retail version will come with a code in the box to activate cross-buy, purchasing the game digitally on September 15th in the US and September 19th in Europe, you’ll be able to grab it on Vita as well.

Let us know in the comments if you’re a Becker of the Mighty No.9 Kickstarter or if you’re just genuinely excited for the game and be sure to stay tuned to The Vita Lounge as we patiently (not really) await a concrete release date for the Vita version.

      yup, that was on the EU PS blog. Also there may be a retail vita version. its listed in Amazon Spain but the rep said it is not definite that Vita would get a retail release and also that if it did get a physical copy, it would only be released in a few countries

    All I’ve heard from people who have actually played the current beta builds is dissapointing. I’m kinda glad at this point I didn’t have the money to back the kickstarter when it was going.

    I guess I’ll wait and see how the game turns out, but I’ve lost most of the interest I had in it.

      Will be interesting to see which group of fans will be more pleased with these spiritual updates. Megaman fans with Mighty or Castlevania fans with Bloodstained.

      But yeah, it does seem that quite a few folks who have played the beta, haven’t been too impressed by it. Hopefully it ends up being a solid title at least.
