A new Ray Gigant trailer has been released, and it’s a whopping six minutes long.

While the last trailer focused on character introductions, this one shows off dungeon battles, gameplay mechanics, and animations.

Watch it here;

This gameplay snippet is from Nil’s story arc, which is one of the main three story arcs in Ray Gigant. Read more about the battle mechanics here.

Ray Gigant will be released on July 30th in Japan, with no current plans for a Western localization.

      Lol 😀

    Sure wish the enemies had an attack animation. Like in Dragon Quest 7 and 8. In 7, they stood still until they attacked. In 8, everything was in 3D and animated. But they still had that very rogue-like first person view battle system.
    Otherwise, the game looks pretty cool.

      Just noticed there’s no animation at all, looks weird.

        I know. That’s the only thing that throws me off of these games. But at least we aren’t going to be staring at static enemy images in this one… they at least move while on screen, even if it’s just a little bit.

    Ah, another dungeon crawler… but a little better looking this time..
    Maybe worth a 2nd look.
    Best crawlers ime is still Etrian Odyssey series…

    The artwork reminds me so much of fear effect. God I miss that franchise.
