As us Western folk sit in wait for a possible localisation of God Eater 2: Rage Burst it turns out that another game in the series will be making it’s way to our beloved handheld.

Revealed in a recent issue of Dengeki PlayStation, God Eater: Resurrection will be a enhanced remake of the original game in the series for PlayStation Vita, the games production is said to be around half way done and a new fighting style will be incorporated into the game known as ‘Predator-style’ which will allow players to battle enemies in mid air at high speeds.

The remake of the PSP title will also feature enhanced graphics to match those of God Eater 2: Rage Burst as well as containing an entirely new story set after the events of God Eater 2.

There is no release date for the title as yet, but stay tuned to The Vita Lounge for any further news on this release as we get it.

Hoping for an Asian edition release, since it will probably include English subtitles. Otherwise, it might be a good time to take Japanese lessons.

Aw, sorry to hear that. How did your PSP “die” exactly? What model? Have you tried hard resetting it?

I am curious too, I have tortured my psp, dropped it dozen of times, dumped it in twater; and its still in working condition. How did yours die?

Hey sorry for the delay… i had my 1001 launch psp…lol it was a decade old…. and VERY well used/loved. I had a ton of spare/replacement parts, batteries, cases, buttons….. lcd screens…. i knew it inside and out, and if something crapped out, i just replaced it at home myself…. kept it alive through many drops, water submergence and other self inflicted injuries lol just got to a point that it wanted to die finally

Haha, sounds like you had a lot of fun with your PSP. My launch 1000 model from Japan is still going strong. ^_^ You should get a 3000 model while they’re still available. I know Sony stopped production 1-2 years ago.
