Vita fans of the Assassin’s Creed series may quench their bloodlust soon if Spanish retailer xtralife.es is to be believed.

The retailer has listed Assassin’s Creed Chronicles as a stand-alone game with a Vita release date of November 19, 2015. The game will allegedly bundle the three DLC expansions that the console versions of Assassin’s Creed Unity had into a single unit.

According to the website, players will play as three different assassins, each set in a different time period. Players will visit the fall of the Ming Dynasty in China, the entry into the war of the Sikh Empire in India, and the impact of the Red October Revolution in Russia.

Chronicles takes a departure from other Assassin’s Creed games and features side-scrolling combat with a 2.5D perspective of the assassins. The game was announced last year before Unity’s release and was given this gameplay trailer recently.

Assassin's Creed Listing

The Spanish retailer has since pulled the listing from the website. We will have to see whether the Vita listing is true or not, but stay tuned to The Vita Lounge for more updates.

Looks reasonably legit to me 🙂 Fingers crossed 🙂

    • Zach Price

Agreed! It would be a perfect fit for the Vita. 😉

  • Lester Paredes

That’d be cool. I’d get it. I heard it was a pretty good game. It looks like their version of Mark of the Ninja (which would be awesome on Vita, but CURSE YOU MICROSOFT!). I heard it’s not amazing, but a good time. Personally, I’ve never found the Assassin’s Creed games to be amazing.

I heard about this a while back and I think its legit. Definitely will pick this up when it comes out. A perfect fit for the Vita!

Another one really hoping this is in fact true. Would hope it would do well.

We’ve been burned before by a mysterious AC announcement for the Vita so I’ll take this news with a grain or two of salt. While more of an indie style take on the franchise, I suppose it would be a nice addition to the Vita’s library.

Quite honestly I would much rather see a follow-up to Child of Light as Ubi’s next Vita game.

  • Reza Gerami

If it’s true I’m so totally buying it, sounds a lot more interesting than the regular series.

  • Cousin Jeffrey

If its a physical release count me in!

  • KeeseToast

Not a huge AC fan, but I’d definitely pick this up! Let’s hope this is true

    Wasn’t it quite poorly received?

  • Nonscpo

Not my cup of tea, I’ll definetly pass on this one!

It’s not even 3D… It’s going to be exactly the same as Arkham Origins : Black Gate… Not going to like it.
