It’s that time once again Vita gamers; we’re back to announce the July PlayStation Plus offerings for the Western regions.

This time things are a little different however, as now Europe and North America are getting their Plus titles on the same day of the week – the first Tuesday of the new month. Isn’t parity nice? 🙂

“Entwined challenges players to guide a fish and a bird to the end of each level, known as ‘lifetimes’, by passing through enough segments of a circle and matching corresponding colours. The fish is always on the left hand half of the gameplay area and is controlled with the left stick while the opposite is true for the bird. The aim of the game is to pass through enough segments or collect enough floating orbs in order to merge into a dragon and complete the lifetime.”

Sound interesting enough for you?

( You can thank James Gough for that explanation. 😉 )

Geometry Wars 3

Evolving from a minigame in X-Box’s Project Gotham Racing 2 to a full blown title, the aim of Geometry Wars is to survive as long as possible. Survive at what? Well, you pilot a ship – and with that ship you must destroy a string of enemies whilst navigating 3D-shaped maps; all the while trying not to get killed. It’s an addictive concept, and will likely be even more so on the Vita due to that added portability.

“MouseCraft is a game that may look like something else you’ve played before, but the experience it provides is both unique and refreshing. Across 80 separate levels or anything you can create in the level editor, the challenging puzzles will make you think, plan, strategize, and enjoy this beautiful little game.”

– Brad Gruetzmacher

These three games can be yours, for the low price of a PlayStation Plus subscription – and that subscription will net you great deals on digital titles as well. If you don’t already have one, I suggest grabbing a year sub; both for the cost to coverage benefits as well as the fact that you’re not going to want it to run out on you. 😉

Looking forward to Geometry Wars 3! That game looks fun. Not much interested in the others, though, but I’ll give them a try.

First month in a long long time that I’ve not owned at least one of the titles which is good! Happy to try all 3 titles although Geometry Wars 3 stands out most for me too.

All about GW3 for me this month. Will probably pick up the others although they’re most likely fated to remain in my download queue for the foreseeable future. And they will have plenty of company. I can’t count the number of games I’ve aquired via plus that yet to try out.
