TT Games and Marvel have revealed details about what we can expect from their upcoming PlayStation Vita title Lego Marvel’s Avengers.

Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con, game director Alan Parsons has stated that the game will draw upon the first Avengers film, Age of Ultron and more. The successor to Lego Marvel Super Heroes is also set to feature an expanded cast with over 100 new superheroes and villains, with a new Avenger being thrown into the mix in the shape of Iron Stan – the Marvel magnate himself, Stan Lee.

Parsons continued to say that the game is ‘a celebraton of everything Avengers. Comic books, movies, cartoons. It’s everything you love about the Avengers in video games.

Lego Marvel’s Avengers will feature the usual suspects (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Vision and Quicksilver) but it will also add some other fan favourites such as Sam Wilson as Captain America, Wiccan from Young Avengers, Crossbones, America Chavez from A-Force and Detroit Steel.

As mentioned above, Stan Lee’s appearance as Iron Stan will see Tony Stark’s suit modified to become a mustachioed suit of armour – including its very own version of the Hulkbuster in the form of the Stan-Buster!

There are a host of new screens below that show off some of the characters mentioned above, be prepared for the Avengers to Assemble this Winter (soldier 😉 ) when Lego Marvel’s Avengers is set to release on the PlayStation Vita.

Hopefully She Hulk (my favorite Marvel hero) will get a chance to be playable. She was a member of the Fantastic Four and the Avengers and now the A Force (I think that’s what they’re called).

  • I am really looking forward to this, especially after how fun Jurassic World was. Although Vita versions of the LEGO titles aren’t identical to the console counterparts, they are getting better.
