A stretch goal for Regalia – Of Sons and Monarchs has been reached, meaning the hand-drawn, Japanese-inspired RPG is heading to Vita!

We brought you news of the Kickstarter last month, but for the uninitiated, here’s some details: Regalia is a game about restoring your family’s kingdom to its former glory. You are given two years of in-game time to do so, and the game features turn-based battles, factions, city building and upgrading, and NPC conversations that unlock features.

The Kickstarter campaign is closed, but the campaign raised over 90-thousand dollars and helped secure the following through milestones: motion capture character animations, animated character portraits, PS4 and Vita versions, English voice acting, additional content for the game, and a fully orchestral soundtrack. If you had pledged $25 or more to the Kickstarter when it was open, you’ll get a digital copy of the game when it launches in 2016!

Let us know if you’re excited about this game in the comments, and keep it here for more news on Regalia – Of Sons and Monarchs!

The gameplay looks nice, but the story seems kinda weak, hope I’m wrong.
