Phantasy Star Online 2 is slated to have its next update in August, and it has recently been announced that it will include a collaboration with BlazBlue.

Thanks to the newly released video we get a look at Ragna the Bloodedge’s costume – which comes coupled with his voice and will feature a female alternative. The update will also pack Jin Kisaragi, Mu – No. 12 -, Izayoi, and Noel Vermillion as costumes for good measure.

Speaking of things the update brings, the video also showcases some of the weapons that BlazBlue fans can get excited for, with the update set to include the following (in compliment of the costume additions);

  • Ragna’s “Blood-Scythe”
  • Jin’s “Mucro Algesco: Yukianesa”
  • Mu-12’s “Sword of the Godslayer: Kusanagi”
  • Izayoi’s “Zero-Type Izayoi”
  • Noel’s “Arcus Diabolus: Bolverk”

Check it out;

Along with weapons and costumes, fans can expect to see new posters, items, fields and monsters make their way into the game with the update as well.

Now all we have to do is wait for August, I suppose. 😛

    Why do I keep torturing my self by looking at the cool things that’ll never come west?

    You’re not the only one @Lester Paredes U_U.
    But hey Sega recently announced they want to change the way they’re perceived by western countries… that might… mean something good… right ? >_>

    I have this game but even thou I managed to start an account and play it, its impossible to understand anything. Im level 7 and unable to continue because of the language barrier.
    This game is amazing but it will set you back 7 gigs in your vita memory card.
    There are so many amazing games for vita in Japanese that we are missing out on its crazy.
    Sega I love you but you are stupid not to release these kinds of games in Europe and Us.
