Hong Kong-based Eastasiasoft confirms a high frame-rate for the PlayStation Vita version of Rainbow Skies, shares first glimpse.

It seems that many are taking notice of the current “issue” with Vita ports and are getting the word out that their versions of Vita games are performing well; the most recent one of these happens to be Eastasiasoft who tweeted out yesterday that Rainbow Skies was running “at 60fps” – and even included an off-screen glimpse.

Check it out;

Gotta’ love that Vita love, huh Loungers? 🙂

For the uninformed, Rainbow Skies is the sequel to strategic roleplaying title Rainbow Moon and revolves around a whole new set of characters on a whole new adventure, complete with new features like capturing/upgrading monsters and an advanced battle system which includes “skill combining attacks.”

As for a release date, we’re still waiting for that to be narrowed down properly – but we’ve got our eyes out for it.

    I’m glad to see developers are making sure their game runs properly on Vita more than a few weeks before it’s scheduled to come out. If the Vita version is announced at the same time as the others then there’s really no excuse why it shouldn’t be released at the same time.

    Can’t wait for this game. Or maybe I can wait if it gets better the longer I wait.

    Seems that Baldren is still in shape 🙂
