Some new games and a theme have been revealed to be coming to Vita as part of Mediascape’s “Play, Doujin!” project.

Check them out below!

Double Focus

A metroidvania style title developed by AQUA STYLE (makers of Tower of Desire), you play as Aya Shameimaru and Momiji Inubashiri as they try to find their way back to Gensokyo after being sucked into the world contained inside a demon book.

You’ll be able to freely switch between characters, with the Vita version of the game even getting voice acting for the protagnists (among other things).

Double Focus is due out sometime in 2015.

Touhou Sky Arena – Matsuri – Climax

An action game for up to four players, Ryoiki ZERO’s Touhou Sky Arena uses a unique “Tension System” whereby your character’s stats and abilities change with the music. With music from various artists active in the Touhou Project scene, there will be plenty to choose from – especially seeing as how more songs will be added for the PlayStation versions.

Touhou Sky Arena – Matsuri – Climax is set to launch sometime in 2015 on PS4, with the Vita version coming at an unannounced date afterward.

Also announced was the third in the “four seasons of Touhou” series of themes; Summer. Coming with custom background images illustrated by eleven different artists, custom icons,  and some background music by composer Beat Mario – the theme is currently available on the Japanese PSN for 400 yen.

Lots of love here from Play, Doujin! – are you looking forward to any of these Japan-centric releases? They look pretty interesting from where I’m sitting! 😛
