A 2D logic puzzle game, The Bridge was originally released in 2013 to largely positive reviews and TVL has learned that a Vita version is incoming, and will launch next week!

The Bridge is a game that forces the player to re-evaluate their preconceptions of physics and perspective, and is described as “Isaac Newton meets M. C. Escher”. You’ll need to manipulate gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architectures. Explore increasingly difficult worlds, each uniquely detailed and designed to leave the player with a pronounced sense of intellectual accomplishment. The Bridge “exemplifies games as an art form”, and has some truly beautiful visuals hand-drawn in black and white.

The Bridge

Designed from the ground-up to simultaneously be an accessible as well as an intellectually stimulating experience, The Bridge has a minimalistic control scheme so that gamers of all abilities can focus on the challenges and puzzles. With new challenges added with each stage, you will continually learn new concepts as you progress.

The Bridge launches on August 18th, and we will bring you more details as soon as we have them! Until then, have a look at this trailer (for the PC version) to find out more.

  • Great art, my brain is gonna blow D:

    • it is very challenging! going for the optional things makes the game even harder.
i was honestly really surprised we got this port on vita. i want to see more steam indies/games ported on it since these 15-20$ titles are perfect for it.
i also want: deponia series, blackwell series, resonance, primordia, to the moon, ducktales, edna and harvey, gemini rue, lyne, and SO many more ^^
