Any budding farmers here? There must be a few of you, because despite having two versions already released for the handheld, the Vita is set to receive a version of Farming Simulator 16.

Details are very scarce at the moment, and we don’t know whether this will be an over-priced port of the mobile version or a more traditional console version (my money is on the former) so stay tuned to TVL for more details.

Brad reviewed Farming Simulator 2014 last year, and didn’t think it was that bad, so those of you with agricultural tendencies may well find something to get excited about.

Do you like farming simulator titles? Let us know in the comments!

All the fun if farming without the charm. I’d sure love a new Harvest Moon. I guess I’ll just settle for replaying the Back to Nature ps1 classic.

Ive messaged natsume about a harvest moon game on vita and they have no plans at the moment. Its a shame, even though the new one is getting a mobile port

        That’s disappointing.

I love farming sims; I just don’t like when they ctrl C and ctrl V the same thing, and on top of that, they also removed a key feature like online multiplayer and gave the mobile titles (read IOS and Android versions) the best visuals while the Vita was left behind without anything new compared to the previous version(s). Wanna charge us almost $40 for a new game? Fine by me, just give us something NEW worth spending the extra buck! Why not upgrade the graphics? What’s wrong with letting us play online along with the mobile port (Vita and Mobile Gamers could use the touchpad to play it); Last but not least we should have something exclusive – after all Giants have not and will never, ever charge mobile “gamers” 39,99 for a farming sim! But they will charge Vita gamers so give us an exclusive feature like NEAR support!

You know how that goes, you’re given a very very rare seed by someone else using NEAR which will give you better fruits; Or a new custom vest you want to share with the world. Imagination is the limit here, but it’s not happening without Near support!
If Giants won’t get it right this time, then they most likely never will. Meanwhile, Wild Season is the way to go – if it is out this year, which I doubt it.

I’m not up to date with the vita versions. The first two farming sims were both ports of the iOS version?!

Well I would love to play a PS1 classic Harvest Moon on Vita instead of this but as with so many titles….Europe has been left to rot. I’m starting to hate sony.
