The original version of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters was released in the West earlier this year, but Arc System Works have announced that they will be brining a new version of the game to the Vita.

Tokyo Twlight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs will include a whole new episode, a revised battle system as well as several other as yet unannounced features. There is no release date revealed as yet.

Shizuka, a guest writer here on The Vita Lounge reviewed the original version of the game earlier this year and said ‘Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is a nice addition to the Vita’s library, and is different from most games that are being released for the system lately – just don’t expect to be too impressed; ghosts exist, and middling games as well.’

Be sure to let us know in the comments what you think of this announcement and be sure to stay tuned to The Vita Lounge for further updates on this newly announced title.

More vita games is always a good thing

      Agreed!

honestly…I will skip this one. The game wasn’t bad but not too good either and replaying it – even though it will have an enhanced battle system – isn’t worth the cash.

Wait.. is this a rerelease with more content, or a dlc upgrade?

    • Nonscpo

      It’s the definitive version 😉

Ugh! I’m getting so tired of ‘definitive versions’ that require you to buy the game all over again just to experience the bit they added. I’m not made of money! The extra content better be worth it, is all I’m saying.

Hopefully there will be a physical release for the localized version, and they don’t pull a DeceptionIV on us, and release the definitive title as digital only; thats assuming its even localized to begin with 🙁
