An aqua blue coloured PlayStation Vita Slim has been announced for GameStop exclusive release in America.

That’s right – for the first time since the Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation bundles, you can grab a Vita that’s not black in the U.S. at a retail establishment – only this time we’re not talking white, we’re talking aqua blue.

This colourful PlayStation Vita Slim (PCH-2000) model can be yours for $199.99 USD, and is launching on November 6th – according to GameStop.

Pre-orders are available now, so get ordering!

PS; No word on whether this’ll be hitting Canada, though we’ll keep an eye out!

  • Kaetokiha

    Very ugly.

  • Lester Paredes

Nice. I sure wish that pink one owuld have made it over. I liked it.

    • Buckybuckster

I’m kinda digging the orange…. It’s different. Not that there are a ton of pink shaded handhelds out there either ha ha!

  • Patrick Wilson Vetsch

I dont mind that some components are black, but the screen frame should have been blue. just looks off.

    • Hamzawesome

I agree, it looks ugly, tbh.

  • WillMerfi

I think it looks great, but I love my OLED screen too much, even if my old Vita shows the wear and tear. I just hope this is a sign of increased game support.

    • Buckybuckster

It’s sad. My OLED has toolbar burn in, and I STILL prefer it over a LCD screen.

    • Yoyitsu

Mine is showing its years too, specially due to a couple of accidents. Thankfully it’s nothing mayor so far.

  • AeroQC .

Dammit Sony! Now you’re really taunting me, first the Sapphire Blue Vita and now the Aqua Blue Slim. ARRGH!

Disregarding that, I’m seeing a trend of pastel colors for the Slim handhelds as opposed to the darker variants that the originals had.

  • i am like “Bom bom bom , gotta get that”

  • Zero Eternity

would have liked neon orange or the white version but still any different color is good. Now if only I had 200 bucks to spare.

    • You’ve got til November! 🙂 I just put $25 on it

  • Nerroth

I asked about whether EB Games Canada will be carrying it on this side of the border, and…

No sign of it on the site just yet, though.
