Every year when September comes around it signals the end of summer, back to school, the leaves beginning to change to brilliant colors of orange and gold, but most importantly the annual Tokyo Game Show.

Minecraft? Really? Tokyo Xanadau looks good tho. I pray its localized

From what I have seen on Japan’s chart’s, Minecraft for Vita has great momentum over there. It’s selling around 10k units per week since launch, that’s a lot considering it’s a western game and non-mobile gaming market has shrunk over there.

Thus, I believe they are going to promote it to boost the sales even more.

  • Zero Eternity

I’m hoping we get God Eater before the end of the year. Minecraft isn’t new but I guess since they have given it a lot of updates after launch it could be considered a Vita showcase game.

I really hope Sony’s JAPAN Studio make their new IP’s as well.

  • Buckybuckster

Gravity Rush 2…. it’s the new The Last Guardian!
Maybe they will surprise us with some info. Doubtful, but we can always hope.

Ehhh no AAA what’s the point

    • rtlf

Tokyo Xanadu and especially God Eater Burst are AAA…. well done on the intelligent comment though

      • Ali Johnson

The possibility of them getting localized is low especially God eater so again what’s the point 😉

        • rtlf

So you admit your AAA comment was incorrect, good stuff. This is an article regarding the “Tokyo” game show reveal, might not interest you but it does interest importers hence the point. Unless you believe the world revolves around you?

Hahahahahahaha bruh when u hear people say the vita will no longer get AAA that doesn’t mean the Japanese companies ex freedom wars was AAA but it means the western companies like kill zone was AAA and I think most people care about western AAA more than JRPG AAA ALL THE TIME this shows why the ps4 made big success while the vita mostly has jrpg and indies

        • novurdim

Actually both have extremely good chances of localization.

          • Ali Johnson

Hmmm I thought God eater (the new part )wouldn’t make to the west as people have been waiting long for it

  • Rodolfo Ferreira

I’m surprised Square-Enix has not made a Dragon Quest Builders public demo for this event and I was hoping Bastion would make an appearance to conquer more early adopters. Maybe Mighty No. 9 will be there, that’s a blind shot. But who knows… I guess Sony Japan will give out more details about the PSN game Big Fest. Never heard of it since last year’s PSX. If we’re lucky we could also get a Ronin of Ukiyo gameplay preview but I guess I’m pushing my luck way too far but that’s just because if Sony doesn’t show us *something* for the Vita up until TGS, then the Vita’s library lineup is pretty much done for 2015. We need more.

Hardware-wise? Knowing sony the way I do, I think they’d be able to offer a PLUS edition of their own memory card, featuring faster read/write speeds for “an unbeatable price”.

  • Yoyitsu

Tokyo Xanadu! Please announce a localization for next year.

  • Ohhh, come on…it´s TGS!!!…it has always been a great coming out party for Vita Games…this can´t be all…can it???…Noooooooo way

    • It’s not all there is, just all they’ve announced as playable on the show floor…

  • Rochard Sauveur

The vita is a AAA machine in japan, not here in the west though sigh
