We recently brought you news of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X coming to the Vita, and now we have some news on what the game will feature.
In this week’s Famitsu magazine, three new modes were revealed for the music game. First up is Live Quest Mode, which will let you choose quests from five different areas where Miku and the others level up by clearing the stages. To do this, you will have to fill up a certain amount of Voltage in the respective stages. The “Diva Room” will also return from past titles in Live Quest Mode and as you progress through quests, you’ll see events that have conversation between characters in it.
The next mode is Rush Notes. During a stage, you’ll see “Rush” appear on the screen, and that signals you to mash the corresponding button repeatedly for a higher score.
The last mode revealed is Module Drop. Modules were previously costumes that you would get by acquiring Diva Points in previous iterations of the series. However, you will get them randomly now with quests giving you a higher chance of dropping certain ones – officially called “Chance Time.”
We also have screenshots – and news – on what some of these Modules will be, along with some of the tracks, all courtesy of Siliconera.
The first track is “Renai Saiban” by 40mP and features the Judgment Module…
The next track is “Raspberry Monster” by HoneyWorks and features the Raspberryism Module…
And the last track shown is “Strangers” by Heavenz-P and features the Silent Voice Module.
