SWDtech’s detective game Pixel Noir will be coming to the PS Vita if it meets its $30,000 Kickstarter goal.

Described as a game that’s a combination of Earthbound and Sin City, the player is a detective that will solve various cases from missing pets to murder investigations. You’ll be doing it all!

Gameplay will consist of the tried and true turn based system that contains special abilities and upgraded and customizable weapons that will be useful against those tough bosses. There is also an investigation mode that will rack your brain in trying to solve the latest case as each of them can have different outcomes depending on your choices.

Pixel Noir is still in the early stages of development and is more than halfway to their goal that ends on October 21. For those of you who have a PC, there is a playable demo on their Kickstarter page if you’re interested in giving it a shot before backing their pledge. Does this game interest you? If so, throw a few bucks and support a future Vita game!
