You’ll be hacking and slashing sooner than you thought.

Koei Tecmo have taken to both their European and North American Twitter accounts to announce the release dates for Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires in the westand it’s fantastic news.

Previously we brought you details of the Japanese release date for the PS Vita version of Empires, which has been set for November 26th. Well hold on to your seats Dynasty Warriors fans, as Koei Tecmos announcement may just send you flying. Check out the tweets below:

Thats right, both Europe and North America Vita owners will be getting their hands on Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires before the Japanese release, with the game being a digital-only release in the west. Not only is this great news in general, it also highlights Koei Tecmos dedication to bringing their top titles to the west. .

The PS Vita version of the game will include all previously released DLC, touchscreen support, a brand new co-op ad hoc mode as well as cross-play and cross-play with both PS3 and PS4 versions.

    I’m a digi-only for the Vita (and my 64 GB card proves it), so good enough for me! … Now I just wait for Yoru No Nai Kuni…

    Being honest though, I’ve never really played any of the Dynasty Warriors games, save for a 3DS game I got that, frankly, wasn’t all that fun… Wonder how this one’ll turn out.
