The 2D cyberpunk RPG Dex will make the jump to consoles from PC.

Indie action PRG Dex was released earlier this year on PC, after a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2012. Developer Dreadlocks LTD have now revealed details regarding the console releases for the game, which will be an enhanced version of the game. Included in this version will be manual saves, improved AI, revamped AR/cyberspace modes, improved gamepad support, and support for German, French, and Hungarian.

As well as PS Vita, the RPG will also be heading to PS4, Wii U and Xbox One. Once the enhanced version has been released for consoles, the extras will also be added to the PC version.

For those unfamiliar with Dex,¬†the game is set in the futuristic city of Harbour City and is a tribute to 90’s adventure games. Gameplay is non-linear with the central storyline based around an enigmatic AI, that is striving to reach the Singularity. This is an event that will see all artificial intelligence surpass that of humans, leaving the future of the world uncertain. You can check on the launch trailer below:

I remember reading reviews for the pc version. It got average scores. Hopefully they’ll work on the problems and make the game better.
