Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is set to have you repeatedly battering the square button of your Vita in November, and to help build your excitement, Koei Tecmo have revealed some new features that will be exclusive to the Vita version.

First up, it’s been revealed that the game will feature touch screen controls, these will allow players to activate their characters rage state. Touch screen can also be used to view Strategems Dynasty Warriors 8’s special skills cards collection, allowing the player faster and more accurate control of the battlefield.

Secondly, Ad-hoc multiplayer has been confirmed for the PlayStation Vita version of the game, allowing co-op battles in Empire Mode as well as working towards overcoming challenging scenarios in Free Mode.

Cross-play and Cross-Save has also been confirmed for the Vita version, allowing PlayStation 3 and 4 owners of the game can continue their game progress on the go, or Vita owners to be able to help players on other consoles co-operatively.

Lastly, The Vita version of the game also includes as exclusive pre-order bonus which will also be available for the first month following the games release. The Special Edit’s Pack features costume parts of characters from Dynasty Warriors 8 and Toukiden.
