Electrifying puzzle/platformer to release later this month.

Following on from Tuesday’s news that the Vita version of Teslagrad had passed certification, we can now bring you the actual release date – NA gamers will be able to play the game on the 24th November with EU gamers following three days later on the 27th.

The game will be priced €14.99/$14.99 with the retail version available for €19,99 – which is again managed by SOEDESCO as was the case for the retail PlayStation versions.

Rain Games sent us a press release, and Eduardo Garabito from the studio said:””We are thrilled to release Teslagrad on PlayStation Vita. Our fans have been long asking for this version (with a reason!), and we can’t wait to see it happening”. He also said:”It has been an arduous porting process, but we are convinced that it will worth the effort. We had a great and enthusiastic reception on PlayStation platforms, and after the exciting appearance of the game on PlayStation Plus the Vita version will make things even better”.

Teslagrad is a 2D puzzle platformer with action elements where you use magnetism and other electromagnetic powers to explore the long abandoned Tesla Tower and discover its many secrets. In the game you play as a young boy on an epic quest. Gain new abilities to explore a non-linear, hand-drawn world inspired by visions of old Europe and use the ancient power of the Teslamancers to defeat a despotic king, discovering an outstanding adventure told through voiceless storytelling.

We can also confirm that the game WILL be cross-buy for the digital versions!

Are you looking forward to Teslagrad? What do you make of the news? Will you be grabbing a retail copy?

I would have said that it was a “magnetic” puzzle/platformer… but to each his own. I’m SO looking forward to Teslagrad. I will definitely be picking up the physical copy when it becomes available.

It’s good to finally have confirmation that it’s cross-buy. 🙂

So we get the game for free if we got it from PS+?

It’s nice to see some of these games we’ve been waiting for eons finally come out. Nice that there’s a physical release, but is this just in the UK? I would love to see the retail ver in NA.

    • Devin Hudson

I’ve seen a version of the box art with an ESRB logo on it, so if I had to guess I’d say NA is getting a retail version as well.

  • Lester Paredes

I got it on PS4. But if it shows up on a shelf for vita, I’ll buy it again! I hope that it releases in a box in NA.
