Announced for the PlayStation Vita nearly a year ago, Darkest Dungeon brings forth a unique twist on the classic dungeon crawler genre. In this game, characters’ stress levels must be managed to avoid death from a heart attack.

The Canadian indie developer, Red Hook Studios, has been hard at work on the title since April 2013. For a detailed description of its frantic gameplay and stressful mechanics, read our announcement article.

The PlayStation 4 version of the game is to be shown off for the first time at PlayStation Experience next month. Those who dare to try it out could receive a “special goodie.”

For those of us who can’t make it to the San Francisco expo, we only have a short wait left. The developer has confirmed a Spring 2016 release for both PS4 and Vita.

Looks interesting and I love the artwork. Just hope we aren’t subjected to the PS4 Vita release date disparity that’s all the rage these days.
