Compile Heart has released new details regarding the class change system and some new gameplay footage for their upcoming release of Hyperdimension Neptunia vs Sega Hard Girls.

First up we take a look at the game’s class change system – a feature which allows you to change the class choice for each of your characters (instead of being locked in as most games tend to be).

All the characters have their own unique classes, and more will unlock as you progress in the game. Having a way to change your classes gives you another way to mix it up in the combat sector; something that’s good for keeping a game feeling fresh in play.

Speaking of some classes being unique to certain characters, some special skills are also unique to certain classes as well. Some of the special skills that can be had are as follows;

  • SP Recovery During Symbol Attack – When entering a battle through a symbol attack, you’ll recover a bit of SP.
  • Spy – The user can’t be attacked or targeted by any action from enemies for three turns.
  • Knockout Evasion – When taking damage that would normally knock a character out, the character remains with 1HP, once only.

That’s all we’ve got on the class change system, classes, and skills (for now) – but we’ve also got a new bit of video for you to check out which shows off around four minutes of gameplay.
