Square Enix announced at PlayStation Experience 2015 that mobile strategy game Hitman GO is coming to Vita.

The game’s launch window is set for 2016; it will be updated and optimized for the Vita. Hitman GO will launch with 91 levels, and all in-app microtransaction purchases will be removed. The port will feature a new difficulty curve meant to please both new and veteran players.

“Evolving the legendary stealth franchise from a third-person console action game to a turn-based strategy game for mobile was a unique endeavor but one that has resulted in global praise for the mobile game,” said Patrick Naud, studio head at Square Enix Montréal. “Expanding the audience by bringing the game to Sony’s premier devices was an ideal opportunity and we know the game will continue its growth on these platforms.”

While it’s sad that the Vita is getting a mobile phone port, at least it’s one of the best ones in recent memory. Looking forward to it, hopefully they also bring out the Tomb Raider version also. And how much devil worshiping do you think we’d all have to do to get Ubisoft to bring the Rayman running games over… those were great as well.

Square enix should also bring over all those final fantasy and dragon quest games (mainly dragon quest ones since we already can get the final fantasy games) as well as TWEWY.

I just started this on my Shield Tablet. Such a pleasant game. I won’t rebuy it though, but had I not had the Android version this would be a great pick-up.
