After many months of rumours, speculations and ratings board leaks, Ubisoft has finally confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Chronicles will be making its way to PlayStation Vita.

Spilt into three games based in China, India and Russia, the three titles will be bundled together on PlayStation Vita and released on April 5th.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China released on home consoles earlier this year to mostly critical acclaim and saw players control an Assassin throughout China’s Ming Dynasty. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India is set in the year 1841 as players take the role of Arbaaz Mir as he tries to retain a mysterious Assassin item that was stolen by the Templars.

Lastly Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia is centered around Nikolai Orelov, a man who is trying to leave the Assassin’s order to live a quiet life with his family, before he is able to do that, the brotherhood assigns him a final mission to steal an ancient artifact, which also sees him become a temporary bodyguard for a princess.

The trilogy will be priced at $29.99 and will be released digitally, however, we are awaiting confirmation of a physical release at present. Be sure to let us know in the comments if you’re happy to finally see this much rumored title has finally been announced.

        Want cubed and physical!

  • This needs a physical release! A spin off of a Big Name franchise like this would be great to see on store shelves.

Sony really, really, really needs to do something about the prices of those memory cards if these titles and so many others only come out digitally.

Forget about their proprietary crap. We’re talking about a company that sees no problem charging their loyal gamers twice so that they can play old ps2 games again.
And while this game might be boring to platinum, at least we’ve got to play an Aladdin based platformer on the Vita.
